Sometimes you need to visit a location during one of the two special times of the day: Maui Sunrise or Maui Sunset. You need to just stand there and soak it all in. Relax and breathe. Enjoy the cooling breeze just before the sun dips into the ocean and the slow change of colors when it gets dark. The wind stops instantly and you realize the blanket of stars so close above you. I can sit here for hours doing nothing but watch. Welcome to Keahou at Makena. Welcome home.
Thank you so much for another wonderful evening we really enjoyed.
Just south of the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea lies an almost 70 acres parcel on a gentle slope. A 21 acres archeological site devides the gated community of One Palauea Bay in the north from Keahou’s seven individual lots in the south. Right below, not more then a stone through away, is the white sandy beach of Palauea Bay. The direction is west, making for 365 magnificient sunsets every year. With the Polo Beach Club near by, located at the southern end of the famous Wailea Oceanfront walkway, you are still in close proximity to the restaurants of the Four Seasons Hotel and The Shops at Wailea.
One Palauea Bay encompasses 17 lots with 15 lots located behind the main entrance gate. All of these lots are over one acre in size and a few of them are available for purchase at this point in time. But the crown jewel listed is certainly a 3.35 acres parcel in neighboring Keahou: Lot C is good for the “The Five Island View”. It is a spot equal to the discription at the beginning of today’s paragraph. Something you will never forget.
