As a New Development, the first sale for Papali Wailea closed in February 2008. Finally, nearly six years later, the last residence was sold today. Papali Wailea residence 19 was the last original sale in this Wailea condo complex and closed for $2,650,000.00. There are a number of reasons why Papali Wailea might be the most unique of all Wailea condos built to date.
Papali Wailea has only 24 units located on nearly 10.5 acres. One can certainly call this "low density" when talking about Wailea condos. For example, Wailea Palms on the south side has 14.5 acres of land with 120 units. Papali Wailea is a gated community with large state-of-the-art fitness room, that offers fabulous views of the ocean and the adjacent infinity edge pool. The layout of the 24 units in Papali Wailea is designed to offer similar ocean views for all owners.
It's hard to use the words "units or condominium" here. The 24 buildings of Papali Wailea are built and arranged to give the feeling of residential living. Always two buildings are sharing one sidewall in the garage, but other then that, they are separate structures. The term "residential condominium" is probably appropriate, but it still falls in the category of a Wailea condo.
If only listing the building materials, Papali Wailea is superior to any other of the Wailea condos. It is a stainless-steel frame built out with Alaskan yellow cedar beams throughout. The roofs are made of solid copper. The layout features clean lines where every space makes sense and is utilized, resulting in a brilliant single-level floor plan, nearly 2400 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Papali Wailea truly is a luxury Wailea Condo!
